What is Glamping?
NOUN
Glamp·ing (a.k.a Glamorous Camping) noun A form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping.
Glamping comes in many forms. It could be renting a cabin on the lake, camping in a mini teardrop camper trailer, pulling up in the newest jumbo sized RV, electronic camping devices, boutique camping gear etc. The list is endless, pretty much as soon as you start to upgrade your primitive camping experience you have started the journey to turn regular camping to glamping.
When I was younger I used to do a lot of primitive camping with my family, but as I grew older and had kids of my own, for some reason, I stopped camping all together. Now that I'm a little older and looking forward to enjoying a little more of life the idea of going back to nature is very desirable.
EXCEPT! Now I can't give up all the comforts of home, oh no! :)
I have always been known to be obsessive with everything I do. When I get interested in something I comb the face of the internet, talk to everyone I meet, make to many phone calls, send way to many emails, watch to many video.... and so on :) So now that I'm going on this camping (obsession) journey I decided to put all of my findings in a blog to help everyone else find everything in one place.
